Digi-Cycle is a lifestyle app developed by digi-Cycle GmbH for iPhone users. This free app aims to make recycling easier by providing accurate information on the correct disposal of various packaging components. With Digi-Cycle's Recycling Guide, users can simply scan the barcode of a product to learn how to separate and dispose of its packaging materials.
The app is continuously updated with more products in its Recycling Guide. However, it is possible that some products may not be included in the database during the initial phase. In such cases, users can also search for the type of product (e.g., yogurt container) to receive valid separation and sorting instructions specific to their region.
Furthermore, Digi-Cycle introduces a rewarding aspect to recycling. Through campaigns, users can collect coins and points, which can be exchanged for valuable vouchers. By accumulating points, users contribute to achieving larger environmental goals and making a collective impact.
